- CAUSES. It can be a deadly disease but it is readily detectable by routine
- examinations and blood pressure readings. Narrowing of the kidney artery or
- aorta, or a benign gland tumor may be an underlying cause.
- TREATMENT. Decreased use of salt in foods will help as will weight reduction
- .Surgery may be required for underlying causes.
